1,000 Ks 4 Kids Hardcore 2017

Route: Newcastle to Harrington and back again
Distance: 400km
Riders: Maximum – 20 | Fundraising target – $500

The Camp Quality 1,000 Ks 4 Kids Hardcore is a 400km, 2 day cycling challenge that’s designed for hardcore cyclists who are able to ride a minimum of 25 km per hour. Over 2 days, riders will travel from Newcastle to Harrington and back.

Don’t be scared off by the sound of a little hard yakka because at Camp Quality we’re all about combining hard work with a huge dose of FUN! Our Hardcore ride has it all; from fun therapy, to the rides challenges – you won’t find another ride like this one.

Not suitable for novice riders wanting to take on a Camp Quality 1,000 Ks 4 Kids challenge for the first time.

On departure from Newcastle, participants will head up the New England Highway before joining the Pacific Highway at Hexham and then riding straight up the highway via Heatherbrae, Bulahdelah, Coolongolook, Nabiac and arriving in Harrington. Stay overnight and then pedal 200km back to Newcastle the next day.
